St. Lucia's Day is a festival of lights that is celebrated in Sweden, Norway, and Swedish-speaking areas of Finland on December 13th in honor of St. Lucia's (St. Lucy).

10 Christmas Door Decorations - Ideas for Classroom Christmas Door Decorating Contests


Does your school have a Christmas Door Decorating Contest?  I always dread any door decorating contest because one: they usually happen during extremely busy times of the year, and two: I never know what to do!

If you are in the same boat as me, here are a few ideas to transform your classroom door into a winter wonderland with these creative Christmas door decorating ideas, such as a "Take an Elfie" door decoration, a giant Christmas present, and a playful "Snow Much Fun" display.
