The Best Book Deals this Week June 7, 2020

I often get lots of questions from other teachers about building a classroom library without breaking the bank, so each week, I share 3-7 books that are on sale right now. I also share books that YOU might like to read as well!

While this one isn't necessarily just professional development in itself, I think it is an important topic for us to be aware of as teachers.  The book is sold out on Amazon right now, but you can order it on sale and it will ship to you when they get more. My students absolutely LOVE Sideways Stories from Wayside School.  You can get the Kindle version free with Kindle Unlimited.

My Fox Ate My Homework is a funny story about a talking fox who gets his sixth grade owner into a ton of trouble!  You can get it free on Kindle Unlimited.

I have always loved reading and re-reading The Giving Tree. It's another freebie with Kindle Unlimited.

The Branches series of books are great for your readers who are just starting to branch out into chapter books.  One of my students' favorite series is The Dragon Masters series.  You can get book 13 on sale right now.

Summer Color By Number

My students are absolutely obsessed with my color by number worksheets!  I wanted to make fun Summer versions to celebrate the end of the school year.  These would be perfect to put in summer slide packets, as end of the year gifts with packs of crayons, or for summer school!

I love that they can't wait to practice skills such as addition and multiplication while coloring fun summer themed coloring pictures!
