Word Jumble:

Let's get those brains working! The teacher can scramble the letters of words related to the lesson and send them to the students. They have to unscramble the letters to figure out the word. It's a race against the clock!

Memory:

Time to test your memory skills! The teacher can create a virtual memory game board with images and their corresponding words related to the lesson. The students have to match the images with the correct word. Who will have the most matches?

20 Questions:

Let's play detective! The teacher can choose an object related to the lesson and think of a word that describes it. The students have to ask yes or no questions to figure out what the object is within 20 questions. Can they crack the case?

Tic-Tac-Toe:

It's time for some friendly competition! The teacher can create a tic-tac-toe board, and the students have to choose a spot to place their X or O. Who will get three in a row first?

You can also add questions to the board for students to answer first before placing their X or O.

Hangman With a Twist:

Let's mix things up! Instead of guessing a word, the teacher can draw a picture of an object or concept related to the lesson. The students have to guess what it is. Will they be able to figure it out before it's too late?

Name That Tune:

It's time to sing along! The teacher can play a short clip of a song related to the lesson, and the students have to guess the name of the song. Who will be the first to shout out the answer?

Quiz Show:

Let's get ready to test our knowledge! The teacher can create a quiz show with categories and questions related to the lesson.  There are also many pre-created games on Teachers pay Teachers. The students have to answer the questions correctly to earn points. Who will come out on top?

Mystery Box:

Let's solve the mystery! The teacher can choose an object related to the lesson and place it in a box. The students have to ask yes or no questions to figure out what the object is. Can they figure out the mystery before time runs out?

There you have it, even more super fun games to play on Zoom with your elementary students.  Remember, the goal is to keep them engaged and excited about learning.  Happy Gaming!

Why Online Tutoring is the Perfect Solution for K-6 Students Struggling With Academics

As educators and parents, we all know that not all students learn at the same pace or in the same way. For some K-6 students, traditional classroom settings just don't provide the individualized attention they need to succeed academically.

But fear not, because there is a solution - online tutoring! Yes, you read that right. Online tutoring is the perfect solution for K-6 students who are struggling with academics.  In fact, it might just be the answer you've been looking for to help your students thrive.

Why Online Tutoring is the Perfect Solution for K-6 Students Struggling With Academics

Here are just a few reasons why online tutoring is such a great option for K-6 students:

1. Convenience: Online tutoring is incredibly convenient. Students can attend sessions from the comfort of their own home, without having to worry about transportation or scheduling conflicts.  It's also a great option for students who live in rural areas or don't have access to traditional tutoring services.

2. Flexibility: Online tutoring is incredibly flexible.  Students can schedule sessions that work around their busy schedules, which is especially important for K-6 students who may have after-school activities or family obligations. Plus, sessions can be scheduled for shorter amounts of time, which helps younger students who may not have the attention span for longer tutoring sessions.

3. Individualized Attention: Online tutoring provides students with one-on-one attention from a qualified tutor. This allows tutors to focus on the specific areas where a student needs help, whether that's reading, math, or any other subject. It also allows for personalized instruction, which is especially important for K-6 students who are developing foundational skills.

4. Affordability and Access: Here's the best part - online tutoring is affordable and accessible to everyone.  Students can get the individualized attention they need to succeed, without breaking the bank.

If you have K-6 students who are struggling academically, I highly recommend giving online tutoring a try.  It's convenient, flexible, and provides the individualized attention your students need to thrive.  Trust me, your students will thank you for it!

If you are looking for a reliable online tutoring service for your students, I would love to help!

As an experienced educator with a passion for helping students succeed, I offer online tutoring services tailored to the unique needs of each student.

Whether your student needs help with math, reading, writing, or any other subject, I'm here to provide the individualized attention and support they need to thrive academically.

With flexible scheduling, affordable rates, and personalized instruction, my online tutoring services are the perfect solution for K-6 students struggling with academics.
