Are you wanting to have a little fun this April Fools' Day in your classroom? Here are a few fun harmless pranks that will add a little fun to your classroom on April Fools' Day!
Before we get started, I just want to give you a little reminder to wear non-tying shoes on April 1st because you KNOW that every student in your class is going to try to prank you for April Fool's Day by telling you that your shoes are untied! LOL! They are not as creative as they think they are!
And... just in case you are not feeling that creative about what pranks you might want to pull yourself, I have a few quick and easy ideas for you:
Tell your students that you baked brownies for them. But... when they open up your pan - they will be disappointed to see some letter E's cut out of brown construction paper. (Bonus Tip: Print bubble font out to to make this slightly easier for you).
You could also use those Ellison Die machines if you have one at your school to make it even easier!
2. Fake Word Search
Give them a word search that doesn't have any of the words listed. I found this freebie on Teachers pay Teachers.
3. Trick them with smellavision!
Tell your students that your district has purchased a special program where they can smell different scents on the computer screen. You can use this free PowerPoint to go along with the prank.
4. Fake Spelling Test
Give a fake spelling test. Here is a free one for you!
5. Following Directions
Give them a following directions test like this one here.
Are you planning any other fun April Fool's pranks? I would love to hear about them!
