I am so excited to be back with even more super fun games to play on Zoom with your students.  It seems like my last blog post about games to play on Zoom was a hit, and I've received so many requests for even more games.  So today, I have even more super fun games to add to your Zoom arsenal!  Are you ready? Let's go!

Although we may no longer be in virtual learning, there are still plenty of reasons to connect with our students on Zoom. Maybe you have a snow day or a sick day, or perhaps you want to bring in a guest speaker from a different part of the world.

Whatever the reason may be, having these fun games in your back pocket will make your Zoom sessions even more engaging and enjoyable for your students. So, let's get ready to have some fun and make the most out of our virtual connections!

Word Jumble:

Let's get those brains working! The teacher can scramble the letters of words related to the lesson and send them to the students. They have to unscramble the letters to figure out the word. It's a race against the clock!

Memory:

Time to test your memory skills! The teacher can create a virtual memory game board with images and their corresponding words related to the lesson. The students have to match the images with the correct word. Who will have the most matches?

20 Questions:

Let's play detective! The teacher can choose an object related to the lesson and think of a word that describes it. The students have to ask yes or no questions to figure out what the object is within 20 questions. Can they crack the case?

Tic-Tac-Toe:

It's time for some friendly competition! The teacher can create a tic-tac-toe board, and the students have to choose a spot to place their X or O. Who will get three in a row first?

You can also add questions to the board for students to answer first before placing their X or O.

Hangman With a Twist:

Let's mix things up! Instead of guessing a word, the teacher can draw a picture of an object or concept related to the lesson. The students have to guess what it is. Will they be able to figure it out before it's too late?

Name That Tune:

It's time to sing along! The teacher can play a short clip of a song related to the lesson, and the students have to guess the name of the song. Who will be the first to shout out the answer?

Quiz Show:

Let's get ready to test our knowledge! The teacher can create a quiz show with categories and questions related to the lesson.  There are also many pre-created games on Teachers pay Teachers. The students have to answer the questions correctly to earn points. Who will come out on top?

Mystery Box:

Let's solve the mystery! The teacher can choose an object related to the lesson and place it in a box. The students have to ask yes or no questions to figure out what the object is. Can they figure out the mystery before time runs out?

There you have it, even more super fun games to play on Zoom with your elementary students.  Remember, the goal is to keep them engaged and excited about learning.  Happy Gaming!
