finding enough time to prep in plan in my work day
ReplyDeleteMy biggest teaching challenge is classroom behavior. I have tried many different ways to manage behaviors: charts, rewards, and classroom cash to name a few. Most work for a while, while others the students just don't care. Thanks for having this raffle, those of us who use TPT (which is a LOT) truly appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteEven after 26 years in the classroom, my biggest teaching challenge is teaching all of the standards to mastery to all of my students. I still tend to spend too long teaching and reteaching.

ReplyDeleteMy biggest teaching challenge this year was the lack of support when I needed it. My principal was never on my side.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. That's a tough one. A principal needs to stand by his or her teachers, at least in front of the parents. I had one who would totally support the teacher when the parents were around. Once the parents left, the teacher was in trouble. LOL!

ReplyDeleteOne of my teaching challenges is long term planning. I seem to come up with stuff at the last minute and have to prepare quickly.
ReplyDeleteMy biggest challenge is trying to reach the needs of my lowest learners who struggle with letter and number identification, phonemic awareness and number sense.
ReplyDeleteMy biggest teaching challenge has been making everything fit in. Somehow everything gets done but you feel like you always are missing something.

ReplyDeleteMy biggest teaching challenge last year was getting my IEPs written while having to plan and do everything else. Teaching is not what it used to be . . . not to mention rude kids, who don't respect authority anymore, could also be a challenge. Not so much in my gifted class, but the kids in my before and after school duties drove me nuts.
My biggest teaching problem is classroom management.

ReplyDeleteMy biggest challenge last year was the large amount of behavioral challenged students. My administration was not consistent with providing consequences any several students took advantage of it, while others resented it. It made teaching so much more difficult.

ReplyDeleteFinding time to add detailed plans to show the MANY ways I differentiate for the needs of my kindergartners. -Lesson Planning & Differentiation take up so much on my time.

ReplyDeleteMy biggest Teaching challenge is time--having enough time to plan prep materials, teach what I want in a meaningful way while also doing what I'm required to do, run small groups, and have time for my hubby and soon to be new baby.

DeleteMy biggest teaching challenge is figuring out what I want my classroom to look and run like! As a first year teacher there are so many things to plan and worry about! I know it will come together in the end but I have so many idea and I'm not sure how I want to implement them!
