These Spring Fractions and Decimals Color by Number Worksheets can be used in so many ways to help your students learn and understand important fractions and decimals concepts.

Use them a whole group lesson, for independent seat work, as homework, for fast finishers, in a math center, or just for fun!

Valentine's Day Color By Number Worksheets Subitizing or Number Recognition

These Valentine's Day Color by Number Worksheets are a great way to build your students' number sense as they practice subitizing!

What is Subitizing?

Subitizing is the a form of number sense where you can instantly recognize the number of objects without counting.  We use this skill when you play a board game that involves rolling dice.  You instantly "know" how many dots are on the dice.

One key part of effective subitizing is developing pattern recognition. These Valentine's Day Color by Code worksheets give your students the practice they need with counting dice, tally marks, dominos, ten frames, unifix cubes, and counting fingers.

Students will quickly look at the number representations in the coloring space and then will look at the key to determine which color to color in their pictures.
